The Buildings Panel

The Buildings Panel monitors, and, when necessary, challenges planning applications which are inconsistent with the character of our area including listed buildings and conservation areas. They maintain regular contact with Wandsworth Council on planning policy.

The Panel has also designed 6 self-guided architectural walks around Putney & Roehampton - see panel on right >

Convenor: Andrew Catto, ac@andrewcatto.co.uk 020 8785 0077

The Panel meets monthly and all Putney Society Members are invited to attend these meetings and raise issues they feel need to be discussed.  The meetings are currently held on-line and, if you are interested in attending any Panel, please contact the Panel Convener will send you details of how to join the meeting.

In addition panels organise regular meetings on topics of specific interest to the local community. These are "hybrid" meetings open to members and their friends, and currently held at the Community Church, Werter Road with simultaneous live streaming.

The Executive Committee drives the work of the Society forward - debating the monthly reports from Panel Convenors. Our representatives liaise with other groups within the Borough and across London on matters of wider importance.
