The Art of Block Printing - a Wandsworth Industrial Museum event

On the 30th May between 10am and 4pm the Wandsworth Industrial Museum will be at Deen City Farm, 39 Windsor Ave, London SW19 2RR where they will be displaying the art of block printing used on textiles introduced by the Huguenots in the 1600's and used up until the 1980's along the River Wandle.

There will be:

A display of a range of Morris patterns

A short film on the printing,

The opportunity to make your own print and to speak to our volunteers about the textile industry on the Wandle.
