Posted on Dec 02, 2016

On Friday 2nd December two tulip trees were planted in Wandsworth Park by Justine Greening MP for Putney ably assisted by children from local primary schools

The trees, to commemorate HM the Queen's 90th birthday, were planted in National Tree Week following a collaboration between the Society and the Friends of Wandsworth Park with part of the cost being met from the Society Tree Fund.   They can be found either side of the Alan Thornhill sculpture near the path running along the south side of the park.
