The Hustings for the Wimbledon & Putney Commons Conservators Election 2018 - Tuesday 30th Jan 2018

The hustings for the WPCC Convervators election 2018 will be held at 7:30 pm on Tuesday 30th January in the Community Church, Weter Road, Putney, SW15 2LL

The WPCC Conservators are responsible for the protection and preservation of the 1,140 acres of Wimbledon Common, Putney Heath and Putney Lower Common.    Four of the seven Conservators are elected every three years by the public who live in the local area and pay the commons Levy as an addition to the Council Tax.   The other three Conservators are appointed by Government Ministers. 

This is your opportunity to meet the candidates before voting opens in early February.    Voting then remains open until 28th February.

Ten electors have put their names forward and have been accepted as Candidates to stand as Conservators for the five elected places to be filled.

They are:
