Members Meeting - Putney High Street Improvement Update - Mon June 25th in the Community Church, Werter Road, SW15 2LL

Event Date: Jun 25, 2018

The Members Meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday 25th June is entitled "New Plans for Putney High Street!".    You may remember that the November Members Meeting included discussion of a range of proposals to help traffic flow, reduce pollution and make it safer and more attractive.

Wandsworth Council have now appoved funds for the first phase of the plan and Nick O'Donnell, Assistant Director of LB Wandsworth Environment and Community Services, has agreed to return to provide an update on what this first stage entails, funding and possible future improvements

In addition Nicola Grant, Executive Director Positively Putney BID, will describe current BID initiatives and look at the commercial outlook for the High Street.

And Richard Carter, Putney Society Air Quality Group, will report back on the recent month long NO2 survey around PHS conducted by the Society in March,   What effect has measures such as the introduction of hybrid buses and the daytime loading ban had?

Members and non-members are welcome to attend.    A £3 donation from non-members to help cover the meeting costs would be appreciated.
