Members Meeting - Past, Present, Future: what do we want from our High Street? 19:30 on Monday 27th November in the Community Church

Event Date: Nov 27, 2017

The subject of the November Members Meeting is Putney High Street.   It is the backbone of our community, an historic traffic route and the main retail hub.    However, all is not well, with the incessant trafffic and serious air pollution compromising our experience.

Plans to change the High Street have come and gone and so the Putney Society's Building Panel will examine the historical development of the High Street, the current challenges it faces and what plans are proposed by individual agencies and developers.

Meeting programme:

Chair: Andrew Catto Buildings Panel Convenor, Putney Society

1     Past:

Kate Pugh, Heritage Officer, Putney Society

2     Present:

Nicola Grant, Putney Business Improvement District Manager - "Keeping business thriving"
