A new plan for Putney
Wandsworth Borough Council is preparing a new planning policy framework as a guide to redevelopments in Putney town centre. It will help establish clearer approaches for planning applications such as the Oracle scheme for 25- and 19-storey blocks of flats at Putney Place, East Putney, and the 15-storey Tileman House scheme on the Upper Richmond Road - redevelopment proposals that caused so much dismay and distress over the last year or so. The January Members' Meeting will comprise a presentation and discussion on the new plan. Full details in the January Bulletin.
