proved necessary to change the venue yet again - to Olé Restaurant &

and Design are hold- ing a Grand Art Auction on Thursday 8 October
2009 in the ballroom of the Star and Garter on Lower Richmond Road at
6.30 (auction starts at 7.30). The event will form one of the major
fund-raising efforts to raise £60,000 towards the new studio. This is
a prestigious event, with the auction conducted by Nick Bonham. There
are fantastic lots by famous artists e.g. Antony Gormley, Maggi Hambling
and Ken Howard and ceramicists such as Peter Hayes, Gabriele Koch and
Ashraf Hanna. We will also be auctioning the plate and print no.1 of
a limited edi- tion of an etching of Putney Bridge by Jason Hicklin
RE, which has been specially commissioned by the Friends. All the lots
will be on our website www.psadfriends.org from early September - do
take a look. Tickets are £20 or £30 for two, which includes splendid
food & drink and music by Professor Nohair and the Wiglifters. We guarantee
you a good evening, and hope you will be encouraged to buy something.
